Every project starts with a conversation about what you actually need: your requirements, the style and finishes you have in mind, and how you use your kitchen day to day. Many clients like to start that conversation in our Ross-on-Wye showroom, where you can see materials and finishes in person before we go any further. From there, we arrange to visit you at home, either to look at your existing kitchen or, if you’re working from a new build, to go through your plans together. We’ll often bring samples and examples of kitchens we’ve completed, so you have something tangible to react to rather than working from description alone.
That visit forms the basis of a complete fact find, which we then use to put together your design proposal, usually within a couple of weeks.
We design every kitchen in CAD, and your proposal will cover the full picture: appliances, furniture, worktops, and a complete installation service. You’ll receive full-colour visuals along with samples and colour options, either to take away and consider or to keep with you at home, whichever suits you.
Appliances are handled thoughtfully rather than as an afterthought. We’ll talk through the basics with you at the survey stage, single or double oven, induction or gas hob, and put together a proposal working to a mid-range specification as standard. Every pack includes full appliance codes and individual pricing, so you can look them up yourself if you’d like to compare. We keep our pricing internet-competitive throughout because we’d rather you found reassurance shopping around than a reason to look elsewhere.
Once you’re happy with the design and budget, we bring in the tradespeople who’ll be working on your project, electricians, plumbers, plasterers, whoever the job needs, so you can meet the people who’ll be in your home before work begins, and so we can confirm every figure already discussed with you.
From there, we put together a full schedule of works, setting out exactly what happens on which day from start to finish, whether the project runs a week, two weeks, or a month, with every trade clearly marked. You’ll always know what’s happening in your home and when.
We’ll agree with you in advance how you’d like your old kitchen dealt with, whether that’s removal, resale, or a skip, and build that into the schedule too. Once the new kitchen is complete, a final check is carried out to catch any snagging and make sure everything is working exactly as it should. Only once that’s done do we sign off your guarantee and hand the finished kitchen over to you.
From matte to gloss, glass to stone, our range of finishes is extensive, and we’re happy to talk you through the full range in our showroom or at your design visit. Rather than list every option here, we’d rather show you what’s possible in person, where you can see and touch the materials for yourself.
No. While we offer a fully project-managed supply and installation service using our trusted trade partners, some of whom have worked with us for over 20 years, we also offer a supply-only option. In that case, we’ll still oversee delivery and liaise with your chosen installer to make sure they have everything they need to fit your new kitchen.
Yes. As with our furniture, we work with an extensive range of suppliers, so we can match the right appliances to your requirements and budget.
Typically, we would allow 5-6 days with laminate worktops, and two weeks with granite or quartz tops as they need templating during the first week and fitted at the end of the second week. You will be given a full schedule of works before we start, setting out exactly what happens on each day, so you always know what to expect.
That’s entirely up to you. We’ll talk through your options during the design stage, whether you’d like us to remove it, arrange a skip, or leave it in place for resale, and build whichever suits you into the schedule.
Yes. Once installation is complete, we carry out a final check to catch any snagging and confirm everything is working as it should. Your guarantee is signed off once that check is finished.
